Hello! My name is Rebecca and I am so grateful to help ladies, mostly brides and bridesmaids, learn more about their beauty and wedding planning. I love to share tips and tricks for everyday hair, makeup and skincare; as I have been a licensed cosmetologist for over 16 years and have a wealth of knowledge to give.
I have one of the best jobs in the world, with a flexible schedule, and get to spend a lot of time with my 2 little babes and my fur babies too! Learning new things has always been so exciting to me and I am so eager to share them with you.
My Story
I worked in a salon for over 11 years and really enjoyed it. My clients became friends and family. I was approached roughly 10 years ago to do hair and makeup for bridal parties on the wedding day. It was a fairly new thing for us to go on location to where the bridal party was and we learned a lot in the process. I found myself answering a ton of questions from ladies about all things beauty because they really didn’t know much. Until the last few years of YouTube, Pinterest and Instagram hitting all the trends, it’s been a trial and error experience for a lot of people to learn about their hair, makeup and skin.
My Why
Every time I would leave a wedding I felt like I just gave a one-on-one seminar to my friends about everything beauty. It felt good to share what I know. I found myself learning so much more about weddings as well because that’s where my job was now instead of in a salon. I work weddings almost every weekend of the year and it’s amazing! I kept thinking how much I wanted to allow anyone access to the information I have to give, so I started writing here for all who want to read.
The Future is Bright!
I started my own on location beauty business a few years ago and it has been so wonderful. My business has received TheKnot Best of Weddings vendor award and more than that I have gained so many clients from word of mouth. It’s such an accomplishing feeling to know someone else thought so highly of you and your skills that they want others to have the same great experience as they did! I’ve also taken the opportunity to create beautiful bridal templates for invitations, thank you’s, to do lists and more, so all brides and bridesmaids have gorgeous resources for all wedding events!
